 Kathy

Kathy is a relatively new client of mine, whom I thoroughly enjoy.  Kathy came to the salon as a referral and was in "desperate need of a makeover" (at least I think she said something along those lines).  Kathy holds a high position in the corporate world and wanted to give herself a more youthfully pollished look.  Kathy's natural hair texture is what I would describe as thin and wirey, with a bit of natural curl.  The secret weapon in taming the "wirey" texture was the Corioliss flat iron (which Kathy purchased at her first visit and swears by now).  We gave Kathy a very natural-looking color that is quite manageable to maintain.  The highlights and lowlights are accomplished without harsh bleaching but with protein-rich toners and conditioning Keune hair color.  Kathy's cut is mid-length with long layers that are designed to  easily "kick out" at the ends.

Ester

This is my new Grandmother-in-law, Ester. Ester's hair had been previously damaged with perms and she has very thin brittle hair now.  Her makeover entailed permanent color and a haircut that would add volume and lift.  Also, the color we used added needed shine and gave an overall healthier appearance.  Ester's hair is a "work in progress" and will improve as she grows out her old perm and we will continue to cut and reshape her hair.

Meghan

Meghan's hair is naturally very straight and medium to dark brown in color.  When she came to the salon, her hair had some noticable damage and was all one length.  Meghan wanted to "spice it up" a bit, so we added some high lights and low lights to her hair and gave her a modern bi-level cut with hidden layers.  Her low lights were a warm chocolate and a velvety violet-brown and we threw in a few caramel high lights to brighten up her face.  Meghan's "Jessica Simpson" curls were achieved with a Corioliss flat iron and minimal styling products.

Rachel

Rachel is a very hip teenage girl who gives me "free reign" on her hair.  We "funked it up" a bit with a short, modern cut and pretty, yet bold bursts of color.  Rachel's cut has shorter layers in the back for a lot of movement and volume and the front has longer, random lengths that can be styled in a more sleek look if it suits Rachel's mood.  For color, we added medium to large chunks of toffee and mocha, with a splash of vibrant red on the "hidden" under layers around Rachel's face.

I would really like to showcase some of my more modern work, so if any of you have a photo of what your hair looked like before I colored/highlighted/cut it, and you have a more recent photo, please email it to me so that I can put it on the website.  Again, I am most happy to offer either a 20% discount on your next service or $20 off, whichever amount is greater.
